The following is a hotel project in China featuring 80 mm high U-shaped stainless steel skirting with a hairline black finish.
Remove dust, loose cement, and debris from the base of the wall. Fill and level any uneven areas. An uneven surface may cause the skirting to lift or leave visible gaps.
Measure the actual length of each wall and cut the stainless steel skirting to size using a suitable metal cutting machine. For internal corners, use 45° mitre cuts. External corners can be finished with 45° mitre joints or matching corner accessories.
Secure the matching plastic clips or metal base along the bottom of the wall using screws and wall plugs. Space the clips approximately 40–50 cm apart, and install additional clips near corners for better stability.
Align the U-shaped stainless steel skirting cover with the installed base or clips, then press firmly until it snaps securely into position. Make sure the panel is firmly locked and does not move.
Apply a small amount of sealant to joints and internal/external corners where necessary. This helps conceal minor gaps and provides a clean, professional finish.
